Shima.wf Terms of Service (TOS)

Welcome to Shima.wf, a platform and accompanying ComfyUI Extension for creators and users of Generative AI workflows. We believe in clarity and accountability without the jargon, so these Terms are written in plain language. By using Shima.wf, you agree to the following:

1. Separation of Concerns

Shima.wf provides logic, not output.We supply and distribute workflow files (JSONs) that can be used inside ComfyUI. You, not us, run them on your own machine using your own hardware and models. We never execute your workflows, and we cannot see or control what you generate with them.

We will reject any workflow designed exclusively for illegal content or with the stated intention of enabling illegal activity. Otherwise, you are the captain of your own ship. Use workflows in a way that follows the laws of your location. All generation happens locally on your system. Think of Shima.wf as a recipe marketplace, not a restaurant.

2. Models and External Resources

Shima.wf does not host, store, or distribute model files. Some workflows may reference open-source models or third-party tools available elsewhere, but you are responsible for obtaining and using those assets in compliance with their original licenses. External links and resources may change, break, or disappear, and that is beyond our control.

3. Code Execution Risk

Many workflows include Custom Nodes that execute code, typically Python or JavaScript, on your computer. These often come from external sources or community developers, not from Shima.wf directly. You should always review custom nodes, scripts, and dependencies before running them. Treat them as you would any other code downloaded from the internet—check the source, verify it, and understand what it does.

Risk Warning: Malicious or flawed code can damage your system or compromise your data. Running workflows is entirely at your own risk. If you are unsure about a workflow, do not run it until you have verified it is safe.

4. Marketplace and Creators

Shima.wf hosts workflows from a variety of creators. Some are made by our team, but many come from independent developers who use our platform to list and sell their work. We act as a facilitator for sales and handle platform infrastructure. We take a small percentage of each sale but do not own, edit, or control the creators’ work. We check that workflows function as described but do not audit or test every behavior.

Creators are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and performance of their own workflows. If you have an issue with a specific workflow, you should contact its creator directly. If that creator is part of Shima.wf, we will assist as best we can. Otherwise, our role ends at providing the infrastructure. Creators who repeatedly submit broken, deceptive, or unsafe content may be banned at our discretion.

5. Payments, Refunds, and Marketplace Behavior

All payments on Shima.wf are handled through Stripe. We do not store credit card data or process payments directly. Stripe's terms and privacy policy govern all transactions.

Digital workflow files are generally non-refundable once purchased or downloaded. If a listing is defective or misrepresented, contact Shima.wf support and we will review the issue and, if appropriate, mediate with the creator. Creators are expected to post accurate descriptions and fulfill their sales honestly. Users should report any abuse, fraud, or misrepresentation to [email protected].

6. Liability and Warranties

Everything available through Shima.wf is provided “as is.”We make no warranties about performance, quality, safety, or fitness for any specific purpose. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Shima.wf, its owners, and its affiliates are not liable for any damagesthat arise from using any workflow, node, or resource obtained through the platform. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

Your recourse for issues with a specific workflow lies with its creator.

7. Legal and Jurisdiction

By using Shima.wf, you agree to comply with all laws and regulations that apply to your location. Shima.wf is operated by a company based in the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes or claims related to Shima.wf or these Terms will be governed by the laws of Texas.

8. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally for clarity or compliance. Any changes will appear on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of Shima.wf after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

We give you tools, not outcomes. You are responsible for what you make, what you run, and how you use it. Act responsibly, stay safe, and create amazing things.
